Destination Overview

Mozambique's history is shaped by African, Portuguese, Arab, and Indian influences, which can be seen in its architecture, cuisine, music, and traditions. Visitors will find warm hospitality, fresh seafood, colorful markets, and a slower pace of life that encourages travelers to truly unwind.

The coastal town of Vilanculos serves as the gateway to the world-famous Bazaruto Archipelago, a collection of pristine islands surrounded by crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and white-sand beaches. Often compared to the Maldives, this region is known for its breathtaking scenery and incredible marine life.

DAY ONE
ARRIVAL INTO JOHANNESBURG

Welcome to South Africa. Upon arrival in Johannesburg you will be transferred to our host hotel for check-in.

After settling in, the remainder of the day is at leisure—perfect for exploring the surrounding area, enjoying your hotel amenities, or getting your first taste of Malaysia’s food scene.

In the evening, we gather for a Welcome Dinner to officially begin the experience and connect as a group.

DAY TWO

JOHANNESBURG CITY TOUR

Begin your day with a city tour of Johannesburg. Following our city tour, we will make our way to Soweto, the acronym for South Western Townships. Soweto played a significant role in South Africa's history and the fight against Apartheid.

Visit important historical and cultural sites including the Apartheid Museum, Nelson Mandela's former home, and Winnie Mandela's home while learning about the people and events that helped shape modern South Africa.
