Bangkok’s Royal & Sacred Landmarks

Discover the history, architecture, and traditions of Thailand’s capital while exploring some of Bangkok’s most important cultural landmarks. Visit the magnificent Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, followed by Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and Wat Traimit, home to the Golden Buddha. From intricate temple details and towering spires to centuries of royal history, this experience offers an immersive introduction to the spiritual and cultural heart of Bangkok.

Floating Markets & Bangkok After Dark

Experience Thailand beyond the temples with a day that moves from its famous markets to the energy of Bangkok at night. Watch a train pass directly through the stalls of the Maeklong Railway Market, visit a traditional coconut farm, and travel by longtail boat through the canals of Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Later, explore Bangkok by tuk tuk, taking in the city after dark and experiencing the sights.

Phi Phi Island

Trade the energy of Bangkok for the turquoise waters and dramatic limestone landscapes of southern Thailand. Travel by speedboat through the Phi Phi Islands, visiting Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach, snorkeling reefs, and Bamboo Island or Koh Rang Yai. Spend the day swimming, snorkeling, exploring tropical beaches, and taking in some of Thailand’s most recognizable island scenery.

James Bond Island

Journey through the emerald waters and towering limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay for a day combining adventure, scenery, and island life. Kayak through the caves and hidden lagoons of Koh Phanak and Koh Hong, visit the famous James Bond Island, and venture beyond the bay to Koh Yao Noi. The experience also includes time at Treasure Island Beach, offering a chance to swim and relax surrounded.

New Year’s Eve on the Chao Phraya River

Celebrate the arrival of 2028 from the front of a cruise along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River. Spend the evening sailing past the city’s illuminated riverfront while enjoying an international and seafood buffet, open bar, live band, and traditional Thai entertainment. As midnight approaches, countdown to the New Year from the water and watch Bangkok’s spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks light up the skyline.

Not every day needs a schedule. New Year’s Day is yours to enjoy Bangkok however you choose. Sleep in after the New Year’s Eve celebration, relax at the hotel, explore more of the city, shop, book a spa treatment, discover a new restaurant, or simply take the day to recharge. With no scheduled group activities, you can experience Bangkok at your own pace before the journey continues to Phuket.

Thailand: Bangkok • Phuket brings together two very different sides of Thailand in one journey. Beginning in Bangkok, you’ll experience the energy of the capital through its royal landmarks, sacred temples, bustling markets, street food, and colorful neighborhoods. You’ll also ring in the New Year from the Chao Phraya River, celebrating against the backdrop of Bangkok’s illuminated skyline and midnight fireworks. From there, the journey continues south to Phuket, where turquoise waters, dramatic limestone formations, tropical beaches, and island landscapes take center stage. From the Phi Phi Islands to Phang Nga Bay, this itinerary combines Thailand’s culture, celebration, city life, and natural beauty into one unforgettable experience.

DAY ONE

ARRIVAL INTO BANGKOK

Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital and the starting point of our New Year’s adventure. Upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you’ll be met by our local team and transferred to the hotel to check in and settle in after your journey.

This evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner, where you’ll meet your fellow travelers and officially kick off our journey through Bangkok and Phuket.

DAY TWO

XI'AN CITY TOUR

After breakfast, we'll begin our exploration of Ancient China with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Army Museum, home to thousands of life-sized warriors, horses, and bronze chariots built to guard the tomb of China's first emperor over 2,000 years ago.

Next, we'll visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, one of China's most important Buddhist landmarks and a symbol of Xi'an's rich cultural heritage.

We'll then walk atop the Ancient City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China, offering panoramic views where centuries-old architecture meets the modern skyline.

We'll end the day exploring the vibrant Muslim Quarter, where local markets, traditional crafts, and famous street food create one of Xi'an's most memorable experiences.
